St. Marys Rapids

The famous St. Marys River Rapids are located in the heart of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario and represent a short stretch of the St. Marys River which drains Lake Superior into Lake Huron. The Rapids support annual runs of Steelhead, Atlantic Salmon, Chinook and Pink Salmon as well as a resident population of Rainbow Trout, Brown Trout and Whitefish.

Little Wawa Lake

Fishing is particularly good in Little Wawa, Windermere and Prairie Bee lakes. Park staff will tell you the best places to fish for Northern Pike, Walleye, Whitefish, Lake Trout, and many other species while a fish cleaning station is located at the boat launch on Little Wawa Lake.
