Gargantua - Lake Superior Provincial Park

Lake Superior Provincial Park is a great place for a sea kayaking adventure. Gargantua is a mythical place of the Ojibway and its landscape is replete with mystery and native heritage sites. Paddle above the eerie glow of massive boulders in the deep clear water below, while passing ancient lava and crystal clear streams.

Batchawana Bay - Lake Superior

Just north of Sault Ste. Marie, you can paddle the sheltered waters of Batchawana Bay, Lake Superior. Batchawana Bay Provincial Park borders Lake Superior, approximately 65 km. (38 miles) north of Sault Ste. Marie Ontario and offers many things to see and places to paddle.

Evening Paddle - St. Marys River

Enjoy a sea kayaking day-trip on the St. Marys River. Paddle past Sault Ste. Marie's many area attractions such as the Sault Locks and the Pine Street Marina before making your way back to the Roberta Bondar Pavillion conclude your day's journey.
